August Favorites 2014

August ending is bitter sweet because school has started, but fall fashion is quickly approaching. I haven’t tried out very many new products this month but here are a few that I have been loving!

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

I love this because it washes dirt and unneeded oil off your face while taking makeup off. If you ever need a simple go to facial cleanser I would definitely recommend this one!

Not Your Mother’s Knotty to Nice Conditioning Detangler

I use this every night after I get out of the shower. It really helps to get the brush through my hair and adds nutrients to my hair too. It also has a very affordable price compared to other conditioning sprays such as It’s a 10 Miracle Leave in Spray.

Julep Bare Body Milk

When I look at body lotions I typically judge how moisturizing they are based on their thickness. When I saw this one, (given that it is of a milky constancy) I didn’t this much of it.  But it does do a great job of moisturizing. It soaks into the skin really quickly, plus it smells really good.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Elusive

I love wearing this to school because you can control how bright the color is, based on how much you apply. I typically apply a very light coat just to get a hint of color.

Ulta Professional Nail Lacquer in Cabana Coral

In my opinion, this is the perfect nail polish to transition from summer to fall. It is bright but it also has note of red. I love wearing maroon polish in the fall so this one is like a bridge from a pink to a maroon.

What are some of your favorites this month?

  1. The fresh foaming cleanser sounds really lovely - simple is best! I also love the colour of the Ulta nail polish - it's not too red but not too coral - perfect for this time of year before stepping into the darker shades! :)
