This month’s Ipsy bag fell under the theme of Beauty Schooled. This theme definitely fits well, given that many of us are going back to school soon. I’m not exactly sure how the products fit the theme but the bag definitely does. It is orange and white and is shaped like a cylinder, like a pencil case.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
All I have to say is WOW! This mascara is one of the best I
have ever tried. It is super black and the brush allows for long yet thick
lashes. There is a matching primer for this, however I did not receive it.
Overall I would really recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a high-end
mascara.
Bee All Natural Organic Grapefruit Lip Balm
I didn’t find anything super special about this lip balm. It
did a good job of moisturizing but I’m not crazy about the scent. It smelled
more of beeswax rather than grapefruit.
Free Your Mane Reviving Spray
This is another product that I like, but I’m not crazy over.
It has a very subtle scent, which is nice, but it didn’t seem to do a whole lot
for my hair.
Lord and Berry Silk Kajal Kohl Eye Pencil
I love a good black eyeliner so when I saw this one I was
very happy. It has great pigmentation and holds well, but you can smudge it
too. It is fairly small, but I think I will get good use out of it.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glo
I’ve never really seen a product like this; a shimmery paste
that you blend in with your foundation to give a dewy look. I can’t exactly
tell you what I think of it because I don’t wear foundation but I think it is a
very interesting concept. It can also be used as a regular highlight which is something I would use it for more.
If you could pick one product to try from my Ipsy bag this
month, what would it be?
