Top 5 Summer Makeup Products

Summer is definitely one of my favorite seasons. I love the warm weather and of course there is no school. I tend to keep my makeup fairly light during the summer while still looking put together.

Covergirl CG Smoothers BB Cream

This BB cream has got to be one of the best drugstore tinted moisturizers that I have tried. It has light coverage but still gets the job done. Also, there is SPF which is a summer must. I have the shade light to medium which fits my skin tone perfectly. The finish allows for a shine free face, even without a setting powder.

Volum' Express Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara

Mascara is definitely my go to product if I’m feeling lazy but I need something to jazz up my face a little bit. I absolutely love this mascara because it is lengthening while still adding volume to the lashes. Black is typically the color I go for when picking out a mascara because my lashes are a dark brown, so that’s what seems to work the best.  I have the waterproof one which holds the curl in my lashes, plus who knows when I might find myself at the pool!

NYX Butter Gloss

These lip glosses have to be one of my favorites of all time. They glide so smoothly onto the lips and don’t feel sticky after application. I have the shade called Créme Brulee which is a nice, soft pink color. It has a very natural appearance with a little bit of shine.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain

Lip crayons are one of my favorite lip products because they are easy to put on and don’t typically dry out my lips. This particular one is a balm stain which is nice because it leaves color behind even if the original layer has come off. I have been loving the shade Honey which is a very natural rosy pink color.

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm

As mentioned before, lip crayons are one of my favorites so I thought I would put one more into the mix. This one is matte which is a nice change to the typical glossy lip color. I have the shade called Elusive which is a very bright pink. Have you noticed the pink trend? As you probably realized, it’s my favorite color for the summer time. Anyways back to the product at hand, if you are looking for a statement color, you have found it!
