Unboxing // Julep Maven

This month I received a Julep Maven box. This is a subsription service that is mainly nail polish based but they throw in a beauty product every once and a while. This was the first time I received one of these boxes so I thought I would tell you what I think of it!

Julep Nail Polish in Sydney

This is a nice bright orange color that is great for summer. I don’t have a color like it in my collection so I was excited to see it! It also has a little bit of shimmer in it which adds some flair to a normal mani or pedi.

Julep Nail Polish in Lena

Teal is usually not a color that I reach for when painting my nails. But this one has a very subtle gold shimmer in it. I love the combo of gold and teal.

Julep Nail Polish in Braiden

I love to add glitter to one nail when I do a manicure and this polish is perfect for that. It has a stardust finish which is supposed to leave a textured matte glitter finish, how cool is that!

Julep Bare Body Milk

First of all, this stuff smells amazing! The scent is called Beach Tonic. The only way I can describe this scent is fresh. It is super hydrating even though the consistency is thin and milk like.

Overall I was happy with the box. However, I don’t know if I would get it again just because I think the price is a little bit steep at $24.99 a month.

Have you ever tried any nail polishes from Julep?

  2. Did you get to choose the nail polish colours? And is it just me, or are they smaller than the normal size nail polishes?

    1. You don't get to choose your colors unless you move up a "tier", which also costs more. And for the size they are definitely smaller. They are a little over half the size of an Essie nail polish.
